Our big 3rd grader completed his first research project and oral reading in front of his entire class and all the student's parents. He did such a great job. He was cool as a cucumber and more confident than I'd ever be in his situation.
The children were to choose a famous person from a list of people the teacher provided. J chose Jackie Robinson. They researched the persons life and accomplishments. Wrote a paper highlighting the most important information, wrote trivia questions, and fast facts, and dressed in character for the presentation.
We are so proud!
