We colored eggs yesterday with Daddy and Nana. (Nana is not fond of getting her picture taken, hence the reason there are no pictures of her.) The kids had a great time. We bought a simple dye kit with nothing but a wax crayon to draw on the eggs. No marbling, no stickers, no rolling them in glitter, no dye cuts, etc. etc. Even without all those fancy things the kids loved it and the eggs look as Eastery as ever! We plan to eat some and use some for decorations on Easter Sunday. This is C's first year coloring eggs; I believe last year he slept through it. This was Daddy's first time too! We have always colored eggs on Good Friday and Daddy has had to work. This year he came home early and colored eggs with us! It was nice for the kids to have him join us. It was Daddy this and Daddy that. There is so much to share with Daddy when he comes home! It warms my heart.
Have you colored your Easter eggs yet? Did you go traditional or fancy?
