Less paper More trees

The last three days I have put a request to stop all catalog deliveries to my home. I have always enjoyed a good catalog, but for the past two to three years I have done nothing but throw them in a basket in my living room. Once they began to overflow to the floor I would put them in paper bags and place them out with the recycling. By stopping them, I feel that we are one less home "using" paper for no good reason. Everything you want and need can be found in a store or online. When I really think about it, I can't remember the last time I ordered something directly from a catalog.

It really is a small change, but one step in the right direction. I have dipped my toes into the water. What's next?
